
As a Young Artist with Opera Theater Pittsburgh in the summer of 2016, Ms. Love performed Christina in a commissioned chamber opera, The George Washington Suite, by Daron Hagen. While pursuing her master’s degree at the University of Texas at Austin, Ms. Love performed Babs (Hagen’s New York Stories), Adele (Die Fledermaus), Cugina (Madama Butterfly), and Zerlina (Don Giovanni). Ms. Love has also performed Susanna (Le Nozze di Figaro) and Pamina (Die Zauberflöte) with The Midwest Institute of Opera as well as several Gilbert and Sullivan roles. She received her Bachelor of Music from Illinois Wesleyan University, where she performed Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), and Kate Cassidy (Wargo’s Ballymore: Losers).
Ms. Love maintains a private studio of voice and piano students. While in Austin, Ms. Love provided weekly music classes to the adolescent girls at the Gardner-Betts Juvenile Detention Center. In the fall of 2016, Ms. Love joined Da Camera’s education residency at the Monarch School, a school for children with neurological differences. Ms. Love is a regular chorister for Houston Grand Opera.
