Sarah Rothenberg featured in MFAH Rothko Symposium Oct 17

In conjunction with the exhibition Mark Rothko: A Retrospective, on view through January 24, 2016, at the MFAH, the 40th Annual Ruth K. Shartle Symposium—“Rothko in Retrospect”—explores Rothko’s career in the context of his contemporaries in New York and the influence his paintings still hold for us today. Sarah Rothenberg will speak on the topic Listening to Rothko: Morton Feldman and Mark Rothko.
