Canadian violinist Teresa Wang is a passionate musician always looking for ways to break down barriers in the concert halls. As an avid chamber musician, she has performed alongside artists such as Martin Beaver, John Novacek, and Scott St. John, and has been a member of the TAG duo with pianist Tong Wang since 2018. In 2020, the TAG duo was featured in an Emerging Young Artist Residency at the Lunenburg Academy of Music Performance. Teresa has been the concertmaster of the National Youth Orchestra of Canada, McGill Symphony Orchestra, Academy Chamber Orchestra and Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra, and has performed as a soloist with the ACO and TSYO. She is excited to be joining the DACAMERA Young Artists Program and looks forward to connecting with the Houston community. Teresa is currently pursuing her Master of Music at Rice University studying with Paul Kantor.
