DACAMERA presents free Music Encounters at Houston Public Libraries

MANY WAYS TO TELL A STORY

Recommended for young learners in Pre-K to Kindergarten

In this storytelling lesson, DACAMERA Young Artists guide students through different versions of Cinderella and create their own version with improvised accompaniment.

DACAMERA Music Encounters have been developed as part of an initiative that brings classical music and jazz into classrooms throughout Houston, connecting music with the core curriculum. The mission of the program is to establish creative learning environments that support the Texas Essential Knowledge Skills (TEKS) by promoting collaboration between artists, students and classroom teachers.

We offer a broad range of repertoire and musical styles in innovative concerts of outstanding musical excellence.
