The 2024 Grammy Award winners are celebrating over a quarter century of music making, having led both a revolution and evolution of the wind quintet through their dynamic playing, adventurous programming, imaginative collaborations and outreach endeavors that have inspired audiences of all ages and backgrounds. The recipient of the 2022 Sphinx Medal of Excellence, Michelle Cann has become one of the most sought-after pianists of her generation, lauded as “exquisite” by The Philadelphia Inquirer.

This concert exemplifies Imani Winds’ captivating mix of timeless and contemporary, spotlighting the prize-winning American composer Viet Cuong. Called “wildly inventive” by The New York Times, Cuong’s music has been performed on six continents.
