Welsh pianist Llyr Williams is a regular performer at London’s Wigmore Hall and recently made his debuts at The Gilmore International Keyboard Festival and the Ravinia Festival. On the cusp of a major international career, he has received rapturous acclaim from critics for his performances and recordings. In his Houston recital debut, Williams plays beloved masterworks of the Romantic repertoire by Schumann, Chopin and Rachmaninoff.
“Williams has that precious ability to shed new light on the most familiar music, and a nonchalant technical mastery and singing tone that transform the simplest of melodies into something exceptional” — The Guardian
“profound musical intelligence, warm humanity and formidable technique” – Seen and Heard International
