For his recent Blue Note release, three of us are from Houston and Reuben is not, the irrepressible saxophonist Walter Smith III pays homage to his hometown, with his fellow Houston natives, pianist Jason Moran and drummer Kendrick Scott, plus bassist Reuben Rogers.
Add on the Fall Jazz Kickoff Party with live music, drinks and delicacies in the Wortham’s Grand Foyer before the concert.

DACAMERA’s Schubert Perspectives series kicks off with two titans of the classical world. Hear Trifonov play Schubert solo (Piano Sonata in G Major, D. 894), and then the two artists come together for the song cycle Schwanengesang (Swan Songs).
