Violinist Alexi Kenney — an Avery Fisher Career Grant and a Borletti-Buitoni Trust Award winner — brings his signature tone, quicksilver virtuosity and insightful interpretations to this dynamic program, alongside rising star pianist Janice Carissa, a Gilmore Young Artist and winner of Salon de Virtuosi. The duo journeys from the spiky to the sublime to the throbbing rhythms of nuevo tango in a daring and dazzling recital including the Houston premiere of acclaimed composer Michi Wiancko’s The Wild Yes.
