Also, Young Artist composer Gavin Goodrich will select an audience member and compose their musical “portrait” during the concert, and it will be performed by his fellow Young Artists to conclude the event.

Stop, Look and Listen! is a series of free chamber music and jazz concerts presented in one of Houston’s most inspiring and stimulating environments, the world-renowned Menil Collection. Admission to the Menil is always free.

The intense, vibrant Elias Quartet returns to the DACAMERA stage for one night only following their historic Beethoven string quartet cycle in 2022.  Artistic Director Sarah Rothenberg joins the quartet for Brahms’ majestic Piano Quintet. We celebrate composer Fanny Mendelssohn with her rhapsodic Quartet in E-flat Major, one of the first surviving string quartets by a woman.
